Timed Escrow & Refunds allow purchasers the comfort of purchasing an item, waiting until it’s confirmed and arrived, and then releasing the funds to the shop and minting the token reward, governance token, or NFT to the purchaser.

With Timed Escrow. SpecieCircle Smart Contracts are given the ability to withold funds of purchase until the customer recieves the item and approves the transaction within 7 days. If the customer claims to not have recieved the item(or is displeased), a dispute is put in. The dispute has 2 weeks to resolve. The dispute process is still under development and research.

You have the option to release funds to the shop or dispute.

As the exchangeETH() function is called. The Bought Supply will be deducted from the main supply. The current block number will be recorded. The current blocknumber + 302,400 (Polygon’s time estimate for how many blocks are included in 7 days) will be recorded as the day for when funds are expected to release. If the order has been shipped, and the customer approves, funds can be released early.
